Just 15 days more for the most awaited tech symposium of CEG…But what is the core team doing??
A Sneak-Peek into the world of a few crazy people working fervently to unleash the crazYness within you…
lets start with the president of ECEA, the good ol’ warhorse Ramprakasam…. true to his nickname he has been running all the way from November… he has his footprint in every committee under the sun (maybe under the moon [:)] most of our activities are nocturnal)…he has been so busy these days that he is having a double for him to attend his calls.. But whatever the crisis may be, one can find him before the TV from 8 to 8 30 every night…
Coming to the Smiling Buddha of ECEA, our VP smartttbalu(that’s what he calls himself)… one can very well guess why he is called the Smiling Buddha.. His lips extend till his ears when he smiles (not to mention his height which matches exactly with that of the legendary Smiling Buddha as estimated by the Mongolian historians) and he brings the lucky charm of the Buddha…that’s why he is heading the sponsors team…nobody exactly knows how he charms the industry guys but lately he has been repeatedly saying the same dialogue whenever any cell phone starts ringing within a proximity of 50 mts, “Hello, this is Balakumaran from Anna University. We are conducting a national level….”
Next comes the Treasurer Mr. Satheesh. Vision is just one of the many obligations of this elusive banker. This guy holds a portfolio in almost all the student bodies of CEG… Finding him is very tough…but when the need arises he comes like a UN Aircraft dropping Food packages for refugees and disappears once the cause is served…
Secretary no.1 Lakshmi Narasimman…He matches every condition of a Smiling Buddha except for his height…he is a tad too tall for it.. But he has one striking similarity with the Smiling Buddha and the TN Police that makes him a bounty hunter.
Secretary no.2 Nazreen M.B.A (Most Belligerent Articulator) – A visionary herself, she has been busy scuttling between Chennai and Bangalore to fulfill her own vision…
MARK BROTHERS- ‘Posterboy’Seetharam, ‘Boss’fayas, ‘Romantic Rowdy’Naresh
Earlier known for their ‘Casanova’ ways, the Mark Brothers is a bunch of highly imaginative fellas who can convince their girlfriends to pay their phone bills…What better testimony can there be for their marketing skills…

Lone wolf Ganesh (Workshop Coord)
He would have spent more time with his PC and Cell phone than with his girlfriend in the last month… His only human contact being thro Email and phone, he didn’t come out of his room until he had finalized all the five workshops… Deprived of Love, his girlfriend has left him for greener pastures… Does he care? Not really… Instead he is happy that he can chase more of them now…

After a brief hiatus, they are back in action… Thanks to our Dean… Ever since he banned sports in Tech symposiums (‘what do sports have to do in tech symposiums?’ the Dean had questioned earlier…) they have been breaking their heads to find ways to make GAMINDROME pertinent to a tech symposium?!?
Backstage boys- Arunachalam, Nithin, Maheshwaran, Kumaresan, Dhanasekhar.
This is probably the only team that works without much ado and confusion (in spite of the President being a part of it)… Kudos guys!!
Last but not the least there is one guy who is at all places at one time… U.Dinesh (@ UD)…Suffering from advanced stages of multiple-personality disorder, neither the team nor he knows which team he belongs to.
This is not all… There are a lot more crazy minds working round the clock… We will be back with more of them…

you have missed out one important fellow… Guess who? the one who is hunting for his better half for past couple of days and his part time job is pulling the legs of others.(His full time job still remains the same as finding a perfect match for his height is very difficult task ) dont give up buddy we are here to help you in your pursuit…, becoz of the ardent effects of marketing team., we can expect more of floating crowd—, there is a rumour that events team is planning to conduct a height matching informals., in which we are sure to find a solution for you

Kudos to the Blog master, For he has created more smokes than blogs. But as an ECE student and a worker for Vision, I would appreciate him if he could bring out the unity and hard work shown by different teams of Vision’08. Right from When Vision work started during December, the team Vision has faced a lot of problems (battles) and difficulties, which they have overcome with sheer courage, astute leadership and Unity among all. May be the tall blog master is too busy in poking around others’ girl friends to notice these things which are happening right under his feet.
